City Dog 5k is Human Animal Bonds for Life’s signature fundraising event.
Mission
-
EDUCATE the youth on dog safety,
-
PROMOTE force free ways of communicating with dogs and,

ERADICATE the use of aversive techniques and tools in pet dog training.
Vision
To help children foster a bond with rescue puppies through force free obedience training, enabling the children to develop life skills like leadership, problem solving, and compassion; thereby becoming advocates for the puppy’s adoption.
All funds raised from City Dog 5k go toward providing scholarships for children who would otherwise not be able to attend City Dog Summer Camp to become junior trainers.
